Spinning Community / Spinning Solitary
As a general rule, most poi
spinners thrive on community and enjoy sharing moves or creating dances
together.
When spinning solitarily, one
can induce trace like states of meditation. There is also an element
of creating sacred geometry forms, like a moving mandala. As the
spinning Sufi dervishes advise, "Turn your mind, heart and intention
into the dance, and create your own peaceful ripple into the universe."
May peace prevail on Earth!
